I designed and created an animal portrait. I used 3 different colours. Black, white and brown. I am really proud of it. 

What country I want to visit?

I want to visit America so that I could go to Disneyland.  I want to go  Grand Canyon national park.  The city I would love to visit are New York, Chicago, San Francisco and Los Angeles. I would like to visit Los Angeles to visit one of my favourite Youtuber 'Spy Ninjas'. The reason why I want to go to New York is so that I can visit the Statue of Liberty.

 I Polylined a Tongan Turtle. I picked this turtle because it represents my culture. It is part of my identity. I am proud to be Tongan.

  Hello everyone, I am eating ham and cheese delicious pizza with a talk cold frozen coke. I was suppose to go to sleep 1 hour ago but I couldn't.

Parachute

 

We created a Parachute similar to Leonardo Da Vincis invention. I feel proud and happy because this is the first time I made a Parachute.

Kiwi Matariki

 One day a Kiwi went to wake up his family. It was Matariki. They celebrated. Matariki is the time of the year when you Celebrate the Maori New years. It is the time of year to spend time with your family. The kiwis Celebrated by having feeds spending time with the family and looking at the Matariki.

Watching the stars in the night is beautiful. I sometimes love to look out in the night to the stars. The stars in the night is white and bright. 

My Fun Saturday

 On Saturday 19th September 2020 I have done a lot. On Saturday we went out to do laundry and buy baskets for upcoming events. I listened to songs and danced a lot

. I felt comfortable until I started feeling pain. I had a sore stomach and a sore head. When we returned back from buying baskets we went to countdown to buy some junk food. I was not allowed to eat junk food but I did it anyways. We brought chips, chocolate, and biscuits.

Before we went home we brought pizza. The flavours were peperoni, Beef and onion, and ham and cheese. We got home and ate. I try to eat it all but I couldn't. 

My tummy was hurting so I drank some water and relaxed. I was watching movies. My tummy kept hurting so I kept drinking water. 

While I was watching my sister came and tell us to say "Goodbye" to her son because they were going out for the night. None of us knew where they were going. We said goodbye then they left.

They were gone for long so we started to go to bed. When they returned we were excited. My sister tried to clean up the bedroom so they can sleep as well. She gave us the baby to look after while she cleaned. 

When she finished cleaning my nephew had to go sleep. I took him to say "Good night" to the rest of the family then took him to my sister. When he slept I left.

I went to brush my teeth before bed and now I am staying up late again. My parents are always annoyed when I stay up to late. 

Carlas Sandwhich

 Carla is a girl who goes to school with sandwhiches. She puts in random things. Nobody wanted to sit with her. In the end once after school her teacher requested a picnic. The day the picnic came one of her classmates did not bring their sandwhich so Carla offered him some. He tried it and said it was delicious. In a few second the whole class was eating Carla's sandwhiches and decided to bring one of them own.

Arnie the Doughnut

This story is about a doughnut who became useful. Arnie was a doughnut and he was brought. The owner put him on a plate and was gonna eat him. Arnie felt he was going up higher and higher away from his plate. HE WAS GONNA BE EATEN! He immediately stopped him. The owner put Arnie down. He was gonna make a plan to make use Arnie and not waste him.

I give this book 5/5 because it had so much detail and it was entertaining.

What I want to be

Chapter 1: We were in class and had to write what we wanted to be. This one and only girl had no Idea what she wanted to be. Her friend Lisa has wrote what looked like 10 pages. Ms Clark has said 5 more minutes then Angela will collect your papers. The girl wanted to be a teacher because teachers can get free pens and paper. She also thought they had long holidays. Her friend Lisa wanted to be the first girl on the moon.

    Out of 5 I give this book 1/5.

What is soil? Reading

 Most people think that soil is just dirt but its more then dirt. Soil is home to many underground animals. In the soil there are some growing insects. Soil must have bacteria.Bacteria are tiny organisms that help to break down organic matter. I learned that a handful of soil has up to billion bacteria in it.

My nephew

 I love my nephew because he is cute and funny. Hes so talkative. Everytime he sees me he will laugh and talk to me. He is 3 months now. I never knew how its like to be a aunty. He always eats his hands. He always dribbles and thats for sure. He is so lazy. When we put him on tummy time he will cry and when we try to put him straight he will find something to lay his head on or lean on.He is the best nephew so far. I am so grateful to have him.

Lockdown

Lockdown has been boring but I tried to make it fun. We had some work to do. My brother also had to do some homework. My homework is Ixl Times table and Rivet most of the time. I really hope that this will help me in my learning.

All about me

The Sad Destroyed Pencil nobody wants to use anymore.

Room 8 has been working very hard on a piece of writing called the pencil. We had to use our Imaginations. My pencil is sad and hideous.

My Pencil has been bitten. I am really proud of it. This took for ever but I have learned to never ever give up on something Important or something you like.

Sleep over with my Cousins

Malo lelei these are my cousins and they are sleeping over. They are here because my baby brother is getting baptised on Sunday 19th of July. Their names are Silia (The 2nd oldest). Alaha (The 3rd oldest). Luseane (The younngest). They are all girls. The oldest cousin is Kite who didn't come. Luseane and Alaha play roblox ust like me and my brother. Alaha is 12 and turning 13, Luseane is 9 also turning 10, and Silia is 14. We just got back from a birthday party and it was exhausting. We are watching a movie now.

My Holiday

Its the 2nd week of the holiday and its going Great. I am getting use to staying up all night. I am really bored so I decided to get myself a snack secretly. I am trying not to make that much noise. I am so loud that they woke up a little bit. I am here in the living room watching some movies. I am super hot. It is almost 1 o clock. I decided to sneak some chocolate for my snack. I am super scared!

My Brother

My brother is very talented and very LOUD. His name is Tavake. He turned 6 on 5 July 2020. His favourite colour is blue. His favourite food is Chicken Nuggets and Fries.

We both LOVE to play Roblox. He is very funny and chubby. I told him to read the last senetence and he said he cant read. I started to laugh a lot.

Since its the holiday we decided to stay up all night or as long as we can.

My friends

My Bff is Pepe she is the person who I can trust. She always helps me when I am stuck and she always defends me when somebody is mean. She inspires me. She will never give up. She will also tell me whats best when someones mean.


My next Bff is charlotte.  She always has my back and she never gives up. She is kind to me and caring to me. She does not get affected when thing are big or small. She is not a follower she is a leader. She defends me as well.


Angellynah is also my Bff. She helps me a lot. She always has a smile on her face when she feels down or something bad happens. She will make me laugh when I am sad. She will always care for me. She also stands up for me when I am afraid.


Soana is so nice to me. She will always ask me if I want to play or if I am ok.  She will
never give up and she will stand up for me to. She always makes me laugh. She always cheers me up when I am sad. She will tell the bullies to go away.

At my Cousins house

Here I am at my cousins house. They are very helpful and nice to us. We will sleep at their house for 1 night. 

They teach us new things and how to be better. They taught me to read the bible everyday. They help us all. They are funny. They are all older than me and my brothers. The youngest is 10 the middle is 13 and the oldest is 15. The youngest is the boy and the 2 older ones are girls. 

We have so much in common. We are all 2 years apart until my brother Tavake. We all were in the green house group. My middle cousin and I do Tik Tok. They are so funny to.

The 2 girls favourite colour is Rainbow and the boys one is blue. The oldest one is named Loseli, The middle ones named Amelia, and the last one is Tonga or William. 

My dad and their mum are brother and sister. I love them!

 

My baby brother and my baby nephew

Malo lelei my name is Pasimati and my nephews name is Mataika and my baby brothers name is Solomone. They are both months old and they are both boys. My baby brothers birthday is on January 26th 2020 and my nephews is on may 11th 2020.  Once they even looked at the same thing and laughed at the exact same time. Solomone will turn 6 months this month and Mataika will turn 2 months this month. They can both laugh and smile. Solomone will eat anything thats in front of him or whatever he sees. They are both cute and funny.

     I LOVE THEM BOTH!!!

Matariki Te Oro

On Monday 22nd of June 2020 the middle syndicate went on a trip to the GI Te Oro. We had to walk all the way down to the Te Oro from Glen Taylor school. We got to do a lot of fun activities there. There was 3 different stations. Year 4s, 5s, and 6s. There was a whole entire family there. The activities were weaving, clay, and I do not know the last activity. I am a year 4 so I did clay. First we had to draw pictures of patterns. One of the patterns was I maori pattern and the other one was more like a koru pattern. I've learnt to draw patterns at first. After drawing the patterns we moved onto the clay. There were 2 options to carve. The 1st option was one of our patterns and the other option was to carve out a little pretty flower.  It looked easy but it was very hard. I usually just give up but that time I kept going. I decided to carve out a flower. My flower was going good until one of our group member tipped out the water that was in a container to make the clay soft. She tipped it all over my patterns on the paper that I had. Most of my clay got wet and it turned out very very sticky. Some of the clay got all over my hands. I could notnwrite my name properly so I just did my initials. We all had so much fun. Then we had to go out of where our workshop was and practiced a matariki dance. When we came back in to our workshop we had to clean up. We used our papers for our clay to go on. It got put into the bucket. I used wipes to clean up my hands then used the hand sanitizer. Then we had to sit on the mat. We all had 2 people to present what we were doing and experiencing. After all that we thank the Te Oro people for having us and walked all the way back to school.

Mataika Ki Moana Latu

Hi everyone Mataika is my newborn Nephew. He was born May 11th 2020. His full name is Mataika Ki Moana Latu. He always cry's at night so nobody will get enough sleep. Mataika cry's because his head and tummy hurt's. A midwife will come today and check in on him. We always put the bible near him so the lord will be with him. We open the bible and put it near or on his bed. He is always keeping us awake and himself awake to. Him and my baby brother solomone has got some of the same clothes and blanket. When he can't stop crying we either feed him or put his dummy in his mouth. Everyone in the house has got up from their sleep and came to watch him. I didn't know what happened next because I was asleep. Then in the morning people were here to see the baby. It was people from His dad's side. They brought some food and when they left  we started to eat. As soon as we finished eating we took some food to my cousins from my dad's side. They lived in panmure. When we came back from panmure we waited for the midwife and it was a long day.


             

What I miss from school!

I have not seen my teacher and friends in real life lately. I miss my friends because I know they will have my back and I barely have anyone to talk to all I have is my baby brother and the rest of my family are usually asleep, with my baby brother or on the Eletronics. Usually at school I always have someone to talk to. Here at home we don't play because my brother always wants to go on youtube and the rest are to old. School is way different because my friends don't want to do those but we all play the same game. I usually play with Pepe, Soana and Charlotte. That is why I miss my friends the most.

 (A memory) I remember my mum gave us a big suprise, it was a trip to rainbow's end and I LOVED it.

 (What I love about mum) I love how she smiles at me and she makes me feel Proud, Safe, Important, cared and Loved.

 (Favourite Meal's) I like when my mum makes my family Sausage's, Chicken, Palusami and Beef.

 (What I Appreciate) I Appreciate how my mum takes care of me and makes me feel safe and if I am down she will encourage me to keep going.

Lockdown!

Lock down is like a moment now. We should all stay home because of the virus. The most Important thing about Covid-19 is good healthy Hygiene. You should always wash your hands multiple times in a day. You are only allowed to go out if it is a serious emergency or if you are working. I heard we are going down to level 3 next week Tuesday. You must always cough and sneeze in your shirt or elbow. The thing my family ignores the most is social distancing. The only thing that my Family will do every night is pray In the living room. Remember to stay safe stay home!

Activity 2:setting sail

The first people to come to NZ were very Confident and convincing. They had to leave their own home with a Traditional boat called a Waka to come to NZ.

If I was leaving country's I will be emotional, sad, disappointed and convincing my mum or dad to stay in NZ. My friends are here and I have been living in New Zealand since I was born. I would also miss the house that has all of the memory's like remembering my happy and sad moments.

When I Grow up!

I want to travel to Tonga and to be a Teacher.

 I want to see my friends and family especially some people I have not met before.

 I want to be able to eat what my Country eats like animals.

I want to find where my mother and father grew up.

Positive Blogs!

Pepe is my BFF which stands for best friends forever. Pepe is a very kind person to me. When I am down she picks me up. I know she will always have my back and fill my bucket when I am sad.We both fight sometimes but we will make it up to each other. She is a very special friend to me. I am a very lucky person to have a friend like Pepe. At morning tea and lunch time we will always play Gutterball. She is full Samoan and I am full Tongan.We are both 8 years old.

Nadal is also one of my best friends.He is 9 years old and he is full Samoan. He is very smart and caring. Me and Pepe are friends with him. He is a boy but me and Pepe do not care. Sometimes we do not always get along but it is ok. Nadal plays with me and Pepe Gutterball. They are both older then me and taller then me. They are Pro's at Gutterball. I feel lucky to have the both of them with me.

ME and my LIFE!

Hello my name is Pasimati Laimani.My BFF is Amazing.Her name is Pepe Faeaa.We have started school together.We were both in room 2 when we have started in 2017.We were both 5 years old that time.I use to love art and she use to love writing.We were both doing things wrong like being mean ,pushing,shoving and would always roll our eyes at eachother.We apologise to eachother very fast.I felt that my life was hard but I kept trying.

In 2018 we were in seperate rooms.I was in room 4 and she was in room 3.I was so sad because I had 2 friends who were mean.Their names were soana and Isabella.My friend Pepe had new friends.I was very devastated.There was another bully named ngapera.My teacher was mr.raj.

In 2019 I was in room 7.I was reunited with my friends again.2019 was a very special year to me.I had a new teacher named mrs.pohlen and I also had brand new friends.After school I will always tell myself and my family about my day at school.My mum and dad will always tell us to wake up early and get ready.Usually before we sleep we do maths.I like to do plus and my brother loves to do take away.

Now in 2020 I am in room 8.My teacher is mr.sok.We do activities and alot of learning.In room 8 I have learned the more you learn the bigger that your brain gets.The activities we play are random,stink throw and harbour on the ship or somthing like that.Those games are also good for you.Stink throw helps you with how good your eye contact are and your listening.Ramdom is a game that you use your brain to think the teacher will say a question and you will have someone beside you.The first person to get the correct answer wins and gets to play again but has to go to the back and wait for their next turn to happen.Harbour on the ship is a game where your teacher will say the harbour on the ship comes a is carrying... you have to think of that object.If you dont make it in time you lose.If you do make it in time you get to keep on particapating.

Feed the Whanau

On Thursday room 8 went to the hall for Feed the whanau. We made some spaghetti Pasta and these are the ingredients.It tasted really good.We had 3 seperated groups.All of my friends were in the same group and I was not there with them.I was with Syntyche Khin lin Rangi Amindeep and Scarlette.Mrs.cox was with us as well.We had to cook it.It smelt really nice.When I tasted it ,it was very mushy sweet and delicous.Everybody on my table ate the whole plate but I ate half the plate.I felt very uncomfortable and Embaressed but its ok.I felt happy I know how to cook like my aunties.
