On Monday the 29th of march room 5 and room 6 had a trip to the Maritime museum. I learned how to tie a proper reef knot. I also learned that wakas are not made by nails they are made by strong rope. I enjoyed going on the boat and getting to race other students trying to tie a reef knot.
Last week Room 6 and miss Cox made some paper tapa cloths. My background was light purple and my symbol was the colour white. I really hope you love room 6 is art work.
On Wednesday the 10th of March Room 6 and Miss Cox did some art. We all made a Tapa Cloth. I went for a plain Tapa Cloth. My Tapa Cloth took forever to finish. After I traced my Tapa Cloth with black vivid we had to go out for lunch. After lunch Room 6 and Miss Cox dyed our Tapa Cloth with red mixed with orange dye. I felt so excited when I finished. Making the Tapa art was a big challenge.
I personally can hear the thunderous Thunder.
I can smell my mums inspirational food being cooked.
I can touch the dark blue pen when I write.
Inside I feel Joyful because I can be in contact with Room 6 learners.
I appreciate my brother for doing stuff for me when I ask for it. I also appreciate that he will always play with me when I'm sad.
I appreciate my sister for buying me so many things when I didn't ask for it. I also appreciate that she takes me to so many places and always buys me food.
I appreciate my parents for taking good care of me and they try hard to make things bigger and better for me when I ask for something little.
I appreciate my friends for not leaving me out and always asking me if I'm alright and they will try so hard to make me smile and laugh.
